Lyndon's 3rd Birthday Party

It was a fun filled day of kids, cake, candy and family!!!! Ton's of family!  Lyndon had a blast, the party was at Travis' (Jammie's new boyfriend) and the weather was nice enough we could enjoy the outside as well.

Kim and Travis look like twins!

Trey and Grandma's spaghetti

Each one of the grandkids has had their picture taken while they ate my spaghetti for the first time and of course it's a mess!  Here is Trey, he is such a cutie!

Yes it's been a whole year!

It's been a year since I last wrote on my blog.  I'm going to try and keep it up!  Life has been going well for the Judd family.

I am not working currently and am looking.  Trying to look for work here in Kanab/Fredonia, but haven't found anything.  Work is hard to come by here.  But I'm not giving up.  I've looked in St. George as well, but would really not like to move or commute.  So I have extra time on my hands, started many projects that I have not finished.  I'm trying to make a quilt out of old jeans, it's on hold.  Read several books over again and babysit for Jammie.

Jammie is doing extremely well.  As some of you know she is going through a divorce and of course through that test she has found that she is stronger than she thought.  She is working part-time and wanting to go to school.  She has found a new boyfriend Travis and Kim and I just love him.  He is wonderful for her and the kids, they just love him.  He has two daughters that he has raised by his self and the girls just love the boys!  Which helps Jammie out a ton! Joey is doing so well in school this year, Kim and I are so proud of him.  Lyndon just had his 3rd birthday yesterday, he is the sweetest baby ever.  Trey is almost one and Grandma just loves him more than anything, he is so lovey and just melts your heart!

Drew and Harmony have purchased their first house in St. George, it is really nice.  They are doing great and are happy.  Jaidyn is getting so big and of course is a beautiful ray of sunshine!

Matt has met a very sweet and cute girl in Germany and they are planning on getting married as soon as the army approves it.  He has been struggling with back problems, but is working through them.  I can't wait till I can meet Marion and welcome her to the family.  They call me a lot and talk on line, so it's helps me feel better about him being so far away for so long.

Brendan is in school in St. George (Dixie), getting awesome grades of course!  He is so like his dad and brother and gets tired of being locked up inside and needs to get out a lot.  His obsession with horn hunting preoccupies his mind constantly!  His blazer is broke down, and his dad is working on it, so he can't stand not being able to get out as often!  It has to be a guy thing, I don't get it!

Stephanie was staying with us for a few months but found the same problem as me and can't find work.  She went back to Tooele to look for work and of course she missed her friends.  She is hopeing to get a job soon, get a car, and register for school.  She is wanting to go to a culinary school, which I just think is awesome!  She gets her great cooking skills from me of course!! LOL

Our family is in charge of planning the Judd reunion this year and are looking forward to it!  Have some good ideas and can't wait!  I think mainly everyone is just looking forward to get out camping again!

March 2009

I know I haven't updated for a while, so I'm trying. I have been so busy lately I can barely breath. I'm still working long hours and have volunteered to coach the girls at the academy softball. So I have practice everyday which makes me work even longer hours. But it's nice, I really enjoy those girls, some are so sweet and special, they have had such sucky lives dealt to them, but they are all learning to deal with their problems and overcome them.

I been talking to Matt, he was sick and in the hospital the first week in Germany with Pneumonia. He is better now and getting ready to start learning his new job. Driving a stryker. It's like a huge tank I guess. Makes me feel a little better. They are planning on heading to Romania in November to help train them for their own protection...and then to Afghanistan in a couple of years... I don't like that thought.
Drew and Harmony came over last weekend and we all had a nice time! Brendan came over on Sunday, he just finished with basketball...thank the lord (he is so done and so are we). We went for a ride out by Best Friends and took some cute pictures of the grandkids, the turned out really nice. Harmony is a very talented photographer. I showed Kim and told him that I want a camera like hers! It does take awesome pictures!

Steph is hanging in there. Can't wait for school to be out, then she might be coming back this way! Jame said she talked to her doctor and it looks like she only has 3-6 weeks left, I think it's closer to 3. She is looking good this time, and I can tell she feels pretty good. She thinks she is really hormonal, but I really can't tell the difference.

Anyway, here are some of the pictures we took!

So the holiday's are over, finally. Things are settling back into their regular order. The holidays were nice. It was nice to have the kids here. We ended having a water line break, luckily I came home in time before it flooded the whole house. Stephanie came to visit which was really nice to see her.

Update on everyone:
Jame & Marcus are plugging along as usual. She is getting bigger every month. Things are going really well for her, she has pretty easy pregnancies. Marcus ended up getting laid off from his job just after New Years. So he is now looking for work and hopefully will get something soon. Joey and Lyndon continue to get bigger. Lyndon is becoming such a little boy now, he is gaining a bit of an attitude, but no worries.
Drew & Harmony are still doing well also. Ended up that Drew is fine, no problems. Just an infection that has now cleared up. They are looking for a home to purchase so they have been busy. Jaidyn is as spunky as ever and getting more beautiful every time I see her.
Matt was able to go to his dad's home for the holiday's but due to getting his affairs in order to head to Germany he wasn't able to come see us. We were really sad that we couldn't see him, but hope all is well with him. He is graduating on the 29th and I believe heading to Germany either that day or right after.
Brendan is still playing basketball and they are doing pretty good. I keep trying to get good pictures, but my camera is too slow for the action. Kim and I end up taking Joey and Lyndon with us to the games which is really fun. They love to watch "Uncle Brenner" as Lyndon calls him, screaming into his hands as loud as he can. It is the cutest thing!
Stephanie is working on her schooling trying to make sure she will be able to graduate. She is planning on coming back this way after school is done. I can't wait for summer!
I just agreed to help the girls softball at my school. I'm pretty excited but worried that I wont be able to keep up because I'm so out of shape. Work is going steady and busy as ever. Things just never seem to lighten up, which is good I'm sure.
Kim is busy as a bee, working on our vehicles, keeping this old house going for us, working at the welding shop, keeping Jammie and Marcus taken care of. Also babysitting Marley, that it self is a full time job.
Spoke to Cathy (my sister) tonight on the phone. I'm realizing how much I miss my family. So much has been going on and I have been so out of touch. We talked about working on getting a reunion together, I'm worried that my kids don't know their cousins very well and how much they are missing out on. It is so important to me that the kids are able to keep in touch with their extended family.

It's Beginning To Feel A Lot Like Christmas!

It has been snowing here for now the second week. We have so much snow, about 6 inches and getting ready to snow next week, all week! Which is great for Christmas! After that, I will be done with the snow!
Things have been moving along all the same around here. I just spoke to Matt yesterday, he is trying to fly out of Louisville, Kentucky to get to his Dad's in Tooelle. His flights are getting cancelled, this weather is strange. He sounds great and definatly like a new man. I'm going to really hurt him if he doesn't make it here to see me before heading back to Kentucky. He has graduation on the 29th of January, I hope I can make it. But then he leaves that day to Germany! It's so scary thinking about having my baby in a whole different country, but I'm very proud of him. I know the Lord will keep him safe.
The rest of the kids are all doing great, gearing up for Christmas. Jammie is beginning to look more pregnant and has found out it's a boy for sure, I was really looking forward to another girl we need more girls in this family, but we love them all. Joey is getting excited for Christmas, he hung out with us last weekend and helped set up the tree and decorations. He is such a good kid. Lyndon is getting so freaking cute, he is starting to say Grandma (somewhat) with the help of me repeating it over and over, all he ever says over here is "papa" over and over and over again.....no comment. Anyway he is so cute.
Kim and I are heading over to St. George today to do some shopping and to see Drew and Harmony. It's very foggy outside so hopefully it will be clear by the time we head that way.
The other day our poor dog (Marley) was laying down and we noticed that she had a huge gash in her chest. Scared me to death, she must have been climbing through a barbed wire fence and cut herself. Kim had to take her to Hurricane to the vet and they stapled her shut. I swear she cost more than a child! But Kim takes care of her like a child, it's kind of funny. He has a blanket that he carry's around for her, she has two pillows to lay on, one in the living room, one in our bedroom. When we are in the living room the blanket is on her pillow in there, when we go to bed, he carrys it in there for her. I just shake my head. But he claims she is my dog not his, he didn't want her, it was all me..... whatever Judd. Anyway, will update more later with some photo's of our freaky snow in Fredonia!!
